Liah's Blessing
Well, sorry I haven't posted for a while. It has been very busy. Adam's parents came in last Friday for Liah to be blessed. She was so cute. Adam's uncle and aunt who live in Indiana drove down Sunday morning to attend as well. We had a great weekend with his family.

Playing in the Snow!!!
This past weekend it snowed and it was the most we have had so far this winter. The boys loved to shovel the snow around with their dump truck.
They also enjoyed getting on their hands and knees and licking the snow!? Not my idea of fun but hey...they had fun!
Their friends came over later in the day and they played in the woods in our back yard.
I love my Big Brother!!

The Magazine Trail
A friend of mine came over with her kids so all the kids could play at our house. I had just gone through our church magazine to recycle them since everything is online now. I kept the conference editions and the rest I put in a box by the stairs so I could take them dowstairs later. Well, needless to say the kids opened the box and the picture says it all. They "re-tiled" my kitchen floor and made a trail into the dining room and living room. The were all marching around on the trail and it was hilarious!!

Remembering My Dad on His Birthday: Mar 1,1952-Oct.18, 2003
This past weekend was my dad's birthday. Many of you may not know the circumstances under which he died in 2003 but I do want you to know what I great man he was to me along with many others. He was extremely smart and was very talented as well. He was always willing to go to his church and work on the building's plumbing or other work. He was always helping others with house projects among other things. As I grew up he was always teaching me any skill he knew such as carpentry, plumbing, auto mechanics, just to name a few. You name it and he thought his little girl should know how to do it too! This actually makes me laugh when I think of it because I often found myself making repairs that other boys couldn't in high school and now I find myself fixing things at my mom's house or my own because I don't want to wait for a man to get to it. haha I love that my dad raised me to be a hard worker and to believe I can accomplish anything. I love my dad and I know that someday I will understand why. I miss him more than words can ever explain.
