Long Lost Family

I'm sure most of you know-but for those who don't-my mother is 1 of 17 kids in her family!! YIKES!! My grandmother definitely had her hands full raising 17 kids!! She was a great lady who always wanted her family together with her as often as possible. Since she has passed away her home is no longer the gathering place for everyone. This makes it hard to see everyone like we use to but we try.

My cousin Ashley, her son Jackson, and her mother came to visit the weekend of conference. Ashley lives a few hours away and it was great to visit with her and her son. I had never seen Jackson and Ashley had never seen Liah. It was fun to try and get them acquainted and it wasn't until we were outside playing RIGHT before they left that Jackson and Liah realized they could play together. Isaac was trying to give Jackson pointers on soccer and it was such a nice day outside! PERFECT!!

The Sky is Raining Eggs...and Pictures

So Gabriel had an Easter Egg hunt and party at school and as was the usual the WHOLE crew went :) Liah and Isaac came with and enjoyed every minute of it. As soon as I got to the school, it was time for the egg hunt. Liah was in awe at the 2 eggs she found and just loved looking at them in her basket. She also made a few friends along the way. Isaac was Gabriel's right hand man and loved every minute of it as well. We have been to numerous field trips with Gabriel as a family-minus Adam who was at work-and Gabriel is always so excited to introduce Isaac to his friends. He honestly has been so great at including him in everything his class does. I MEAN EVERYTHING!! The teacher even has Isaac in her class pictures on these field trips because Gabriel says Isaac has to be in the picture because he's his friend. Gabriel's teacher has been wonderful at including Isaac as well and even had 2 Easter basket especially for Liah and Isaac knowing we would be coming for it. After the egg hunt, they all went in for the party where just as before Liah had her own seat at the table as well as Isaac. Next was play-time and they played with the classroom toys as well as the kids. They had a great time!!

After play-time, Gabriel's class performed a play for me because I was in class the day they had their play and I couldn't come. It was so nice of them to do that for me and I think Gabriel was very happy to do it again!

The GOOD, the GIGGLY, and the JUST SO DARN CUTE!!!

So spring soccer has started full swing in our household. Gabriel decided he wanted to play this time around and he appears to be HAVING a BLAST!! He should really be called the giggle monster because he giggles and laughs almost the ENTIRE time he is on the field playing. It is so funny and cute to hear him laughing and having a good time!

Isaac had so much fun in the fall that without a doubt he wanted to return for spring. He has 1 or 2 of his friends from the fall season on his team this time which makes it a little easier to adjust to a new coach. He seems to have fun playing as well. He and Gabriel both can't wait until practice and then when it's over continue to ask throughout the next week, "Mom, when is soccer again?"
