First Day at Pre-School

The boys started pre-school this week. They were both very excited to go and meet new friends. Gabriel now bolts out of the van to greet his teacher and talk to his new found friends. Isaac has been a little unsure but when I pick them both up they talk the rest of the day about what they did, what they learned, and what snacks they had that day.
They wanted there picture taken with their bike and scooter. They are so CUTE!!!

All right!! All right!!!

Some of you have inquired as to why I am not in any of the pictures. I absolutely hate pictures and I hate the fact that I am gaining weight daily as well. Just to make all my fans happy. HERE YOU GO!!! These pictures were taken at a friend's house, Shannon. The first picture is me talking with Vincent, Shannon's husband and the second is of Hollis and I. She emailed them to me and I am sharing. Enjoy because this is rare :)
I have also included a picture of Isaac and Gabriel with friends Mac and Turner showing their popsicle tongues :)

The Dirt Project

We finally carried out our plan to build up the ground around the landscaping and the ditch that runs down the side of our house. We just wanted to make sure that we never had a water problem and Adam has been planning this for a while.

It's A GIRL!! Or so they say....

Well, we found out last week that we are having a girl! It was a little strange for me to hear that since I had actually hoped for another boy. What do you do with a girl?? I guess we will find out. The boys went with us to the ultrasound and both were not happy at first to have a sister. They have since warmed-up to the idea and have talk about sharing their toys with her but making sure she doesn't put them in her mouth because "...that is dangerous" Gabriel said. Already a big brother!

Getting Ready for Preschool

I wanted to report that Gabriel went to the doctor yesterday to get ready for preschool. I say preschool because he just turned 5 four days ago and we decided several months ago to send him to preschool and start him at 6 to kindergarten. He got three shots and of course was not a happy camper. I wouldn't dare take a picture of that because that would be cruel. Also, I couldn't bear to go in the room and made dad go with him instead!
Isaac, as you can tell from previous pictures, is about to catch Gabriel in weight and is pretty close in height. When we go places, many people ask if they are twins. Isaac will also be going to preschool in August.
We will find out next Monday afternoon what the next baby's gender is and I will be sure to report for those who are interested.

Gabriel's B-Day

Gabriel celebrated his 5th birthday with a pool party at Grandma's house. He loves spongebob and had a cake along with pizza and lots of friends. He had us sing the primary song "Happy Happy Birthday Gabriel Dear." He even made me put exactly that on his cake. Everyone asked if Dear was his middle name as it was on the cake. Parents and kids had a blast as the pictures will show.

Isaac had his 3rd birthday at Grandma's house. It was just with family and he had a Thomas the Tank Engine cake. The boys are big train fans. Gabriel helped out as they blew out the candle.
